Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training online in June
This Lean Six Sigma training course at the Green Belt level gives you valuable business tools to achieve process and operational excellence. The course content emphasizes why the implementation of Lean Six Sigma is vital to the continuous improvement of industry in today's competitive world. Several case studies and applications of Lean Six Sigma concepts will be presented throughout the course. The course will be led by Mohammad Khasawneh, PhD, professor in the Department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at Binghamton University's Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science.
This program is open to students, alumni, government, non-profit, and industry attendees and designed for all those interested in understanding and applying Lean Six Sigma concepts to their workplace. This training program can be very useful for a wide variety of industries, including (but not limited to) healthcare, information technology, accounting, government, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical. Participants from any educational background/experience are eligible to enroll in this program.
The 18-hour course will be available starting on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 and will conclude with a comprehensive take home exam due by Friday, July 1, 2016. For those who do not have the required current background/knowledge of probability and statistics, a 6-hour statistics pre-course is also available. Register by May 22, 2016 to avoid late fees. Fees include access to course materials, pre-recorded lectures, and virtual office hours. Group discounts, continuing education units (CEUs) and professional development hours (PDHs) are available.
