Basic Project Management Workshop

AM&T is pleased to offer an 8-hour ‘train and do’ workshop that includes classroom presentations and exercises on how to successfully organize, manage and complete projects on time and on budget.

The BEST Program will reimburse registration and mileage to select BESTies.  We encourage car sharing to save on costs. Please let Azucena Ortega know if interested by Wednesday August 29.

Who should attend:

This workshop is for anyone with project management responsibilities, whether new to project management or just looking to improve their Project Management skills and effectiveness.

Course materials are based on methods described in the Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), published by the Program Management Institute (PMI).

Instructor: Lloyd Johnson, AM&T Principal Consultant and Certified Project Management Professional.

  3. Defining the Mission and Approach
  4. Methodology Overview
  5. Work Plan Review and Sign-Off
  6. Project Tracking (Working the Schedule)
  7. Actions and Contingency Plans
  8. Project Status Reporting
  9. Book Shelving Project Management Data

Fees: $100 attendee for AM&T Associates (Cornell students qualify for this)
         $150 attendee for all others
