Pathways to Success & BEST Joint Symposium

This is the second of two symposia to help you successfully Navigate Your Future. Workshops and concurrent panel discussions on broad professional development to include: Recruiter perspectives, NGO's & Thinktanks, Entrepreneurship, Consulting, Industry & National Lab postdocs

The AAAS Engaging the Public with Social Media session covers the latest research on use of social media, including why and how scientists can use it to engage, an introduction to using Twitter, and best practices for engaging in online conversations and using social media metrics. Participants identify their goal and audience, and develop sample tweets. Open to doctoral, professional degree, and research masters students and postdoctoral scholars.
