Advancing Science And Policy (ASAP) and Cornell BEST invite you to hear:
Dr. Chris B. Schaffer, an associate professor in the Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University. Chris also has a strong interest in science policy and spent a sabbatical in Washington, DC, working as a science policy advisor for Senator Edward Markey in the United States Congress. He will offer a case study of his own advocacy work, and discuss strategies and tactics for communicating with policymakers with attendees.
