Navigate Your Future: Lessons in Leadership

The BEST Program signature "Careers in..." series will be held:

Featuring organizational leader and consultant John Hinck, author of Strength and Honor, a collection of 64 Stories of Leadership, Character, and Values.

There will be two stand-alone sessions starting at 11:15am and 12:45 pm. Come for one or both.

Friday March 17, 2017:  Lessons in Leadership in 226 Weill

11:15am-12:15pm Session 1How to cultivate personal talent and overcome weaknesses

12:45am-1:45pm Session 2: Assembling, managing, leading, influencing, and motivating others

Lunch will be provided to all attendees registered by Wednesday March 15 at noon.

About the speaker John M. Hinck:

John is currently a doctoral student and instructor in the Leadership Studies Program at the University of San Diego specializing in organizational leadership and nonprofit management. John is a former Army Colonel and Apache pilot and has served in Korea, Germany, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He authored Strength & Honor – 64 Stories of Leadership, Character, and Values, and his research interests include the decline of social nonprofits, how organizational leaders influence retention decisions in social nonprofits, increasing shared authority in elder care, and designing leadership development programs. He holds degrees in Aviation Management, a Master in Administration, and a Master in Military Art and Science. John is self-employed as a keynote speaker and seminar leader, and is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business and Management at National University. See his promotional flyer.
